86. Kiehl's Is Numbah One!
Last Friday night joe rogan took my lip balm. As we were leaving the theater joerogan was standing at the doors that separate the comedy room from the bar.

15 February 2002 I 've decided to write some updates on the plane since it's the only time for weeks I've felt like writing. I know you're all going to freak out from all the new entries. [Clearly this is the only one I wrote...] Anyway. Last Friday night Joe Rogan took my lip balm. But then I had to ask for it back. See, what had happened was, is that I got tickets to see Joe Rogan (he must always be referred to as 'Joe Rogan.' Not Joe or Rog or Roggy or even J.R. Just Joe Rogan,) at the Funny Bone for Mo's birthday. When we'd lived together Fear Factor was practically a ritual in our house, so when I found out he was coming to town, I knew I had to get tickets. Even if it was just for the gag factor. Needless to say, he was hilarious, a little raunchy, but incredibly funny. Mo and I were the losers who got the bottle of wine and had to light our cigarettes off the candle on the table. (I mean, who gets a bottle of Woodbridge [the dredge of the Mondavi winery] at a comedy club?) We laughed, we cried, Mo vowed to be the Mrs. Joe Rogan, and I was especially pleased to hear him make fun of the Playmates from that stupid episode that aired after the Superbowl.

Bullet Joe Rogan
An outstanding pitcher with a tremendous fastball, a fine curve and good control, "Bullet" Rogan was a star for the Kansas City Monarchs for almost 20 years. The 5'9", 180-lb. right-hander was a smart pitcher who always kept the ball down. A durable workhorse, putting in an average of 30 games per year for a decade without ever being relieved, Bullet Joe's value to the team was inestimable. In addition to his pitching skills, he was a superb fielder and a dangerous hitter. A versatile player, when not performing on the mound, Bullet played in the outfield to keep his big bat in the line-up. He showcased his stamina and versatility when he gained two victories in the 1924 World Series against the great Hilldale club, pitching three complete games and relieving in another, and batting .325 while playing in the outfield the other six games. That winter, in his only trip to Cuba, the hard worker continued his winning pace, recording a 9-4 worksheet. The following year without Rogan on the mound in the World Series, the Monarchs lost to the same Hilldale club. In 1926, Bullet hit .331 and compiled a 12-4 record on the mound, which was tops for the first-half champion Monarchs, who lost a heartbreaking five-out-of-nine play-off to the second-half champion, Chicago American Giants. In a valiant effort to stave off defeat, Bullet Joe started both ends of a double-header on the last day of the play-off, but to no avail.

90. FanboyPlanet - Fantasy Booking: Fear Factor
For those of you that have never seen the show, each week host joe rogan (joe fromNews Radio) takes a handful of willing contestants through three challenges.
http://www.fanboyplanet.com/goodson/fantasyfearfactor.htm
Fantasy Booking: Fear Factor Editor's Note: Tonight, May 6, 2002, NBC brings back past champions for an ultimate Fear Factor. But we say they're wussies, and can prove it with our take on what the show should actually be. We first ran this article last August. NBC's Fear Factor is a mindless show. I mean that in the nicest possible way. You don't need to know anything about it to understand what's happening in any given episode. It doesn't matter who the contestants are or why they decided to play. It's complete mindless, no brain required television, only there to make you go "I can't believe people are doing this for money." For those of you that have never seen the show, each week host Joe Rogan (Joe from News Radio) takes a handful of willing contestants through three challenges. Each challenge involves some basic phobia (heights, bugs, darkness, children, etc…). The contestants attempt to complete each challenge and the winner at the end of the show gets 50,000 dollars. There is only one problem with Fear Factor: the challenges almost never involve fear. Most of the challenges are designed as an athletic competition (crossing a rope that is tied between two buildings in a short amount of time) or are really just disgusting (eating live beetles). I (and the rest of the viewing public) hunger for more that just squeamishness. We want to see people wetting themselves with fear. Not just "boogeyman" fear either. Real, hardcore, mind scaring, stuff that keeps you awake at night FEAR!

When Jeffrey made it they were like, "Oh I can make it easy." Eric even jumped with his penny loafers on - and he wound up falling. Some of the PAs had to leave the room [for the second stunt]. [Players had to] eat these coagulated blood balls that were wrapped in pig intestines like a sausage. Very disgusting. Nobody finished it. [The girls] tried, it was just too much to eat, too quickly. You had to be a real savage to be able to put it down quick. But since everyone failed, they all moved on to the next round anyway. (Episode 213) April 29, 2002

Some shit I wrote on a plane…
Friday, December 20, 2002 06:39 pm - JoeRogan
I’m 30,000 feet over the Earth right now as I type this.
There’s something really strange that happens to me when I’m in a plane looking out the window.
My mind just goes into a weird place. Maybe it’s because I’m physically vulnerable, aware that I have no control over what happens to me until I get on the ground. I’m aware that my life is at the mercy of the pilot and the physical tolerances of the metal and other materials that are used to construct the plane. I can only sit helplessly in my seat and hope that the poorly paid, and equally poorly motivated safety inspectors have done their job.
I think that’s a part of the feeling.
