Product Description
This book is perfect for you if you are an adult and have or are starting to worry that you have attention deficit disorder, with or without the hyperactivity (ADD or ADHD).

Adult ADHD: What You Need to Know takes the 10% that is actually useful from many books and puts it together in an easy to read, highly accurate and informative book.

The reason this book will help you is because it was written by David, an adult who has ADHD but didn't want to get treatment. He didn't believe it was real.Or that treatment could help.

Since getting treatment, he has been able to take and ace classes he had to drop in the past.He has written more than 150 biomedical research articles when, in the past, he couldn't even sit still long enough to write one.His success in business will be taught as a case study at an Ivy League business class.

But what he is most proud about is writing this book that readers say has changed their lives. The reason this book has been able to help people is simple - David knows what ADHD is and what the questions you have if you have it and are an adult.

Questions like:

* Is ADHD even real?Does it exist in adults? And if so, what does it look like and how do I know if I have it?
* Won't anyone who takes Ritalin or Adderall get very focused? And aren't they also known as popular street drugs?
* A lot of people say that Ritalin or Adderall stops working for them.Does that actually happen?

Not only does the book answer important questions is a fun, interesting and engaging way - it provides plenty of citations so you know the science is accurate.

Heck, the book even has an interview in it with Dr. Ari Tuckman, Vice President of the ADD association, where he clears up many misconceptions about the condition in adults.

Here's what a few readers have to say about the book:

"I am 45 years old and was never diagnosed with ADHD.Thanks to David's extremely helpful book, I was able to understand ADHD and how it was affecting my life.'Adult ADHD: What You Need to Know' managed to capture exactly what I've been going through - I was shocked to discover what I thought was just my way of doing things were actually symptoms of ADHD.

Thanks to this book I have received treatment for ADHD and it has changed my life and work for the better!"

Mark, Business Owner

"I read the book with a wry, small smile. Thank-you very much for all the work you put into the research. It was well written and to the point. I have been doing a lot of research lately and found this book's content to be helpful but not intimidating. Most of the information I found is either too medically dry or directed toward raising children with ADHD.

I have much more to learn but you provided an excellent jumping-off point.I found the book very helpful and I am going to share it with my older children."

Robin O., Mother

"I found the book very interesting - it is very inspiring and encouraged me to take action.

I have not read a book that has the same hopeful approach this one does, and it really helped me out."

This book addresses ADHD, a medical condition which effects millions of people and which can go undiagnosed for many years; makingperson's life very challenging and rather miserable. By reading this book one might at some point say to themselves "It's me; and the problems I've been having are the problems I am reading about". This book could be a real eye opener for many people.Highly recommended for people who have difficulty concentrating, personal problems, and low self-esteem.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must read for anyone who thinks that they may have adult ADHD
Adult ADHD: What You Need to Know is an ideal book for anyone who suspect that they may have ADHD or for family members or loved ones of people with Adult ADHD.The author has managed to answer all the most commonly asked questions that people with ADHD may have in a book that is both comprehensive and compact.

The book is quick and easy to read which makes it ideal for folks dealing with untreated ADHD which can often result in a 20 minute attention span. The book gives examples and stories which make key concepts easier to understand.I especially enjoyed the story that the author read about farmers and hunters which he shares with us while explaining that ADHD is not necessarily a disability.

I deal daily with patients diagnosed with adult ADHD.This book is a quick study guide that manages to be both an informativeand enjoyable read. I recommend it without hesitation.

Adult ADHD: What You Need to Know is something you would want to read if you are an adult and have ADHD.It explains things clearly and simply. It is a great value.

5-0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive, readable, important
David Gureviches Adult ADHD: What You Need to Know takes the most important bits of information from many other sources and condenses them into an extremely useful and interesting book. It is both informative and easy to understand.

It addresses the most common questions and concerns adults have about ADHD. And, it is priced as about the cost of two medium iced mochas, because of how much people with ADHD love coffee.

Don't worry that it will get you to feel down about yourself. The book is optimistic and written in a style that makes it accessible to people with ADHD. Its readers find that it makes things clear to them, enabling them to deal with their issues.

It covers the most important things you want to know: 1) How to tell if you might have ADHD 2) What to do if you think you have it and 3) What it means to you overall.

Some of the chapters include:

2) The 33 Ways to Check if You Have ADHD
8) Is ADHD just a variant of normal behavior?
15) The 4 Things You Must Know to Succeed with ADHD
17) Some Examples of Good Jobs for people with ADHD
18) Every Single Common Medication Option - Explained
