Legislative Alert Governor Ehrlich continues to threaten to veto new taxes and slash the Bridge to Excellence Funding (Thornton Commission) for public schools. We need to tell him and the members of the legislature that we care about public education. It is time for them to find a reliable source of funding that provides our children with the adequate education that is required by the constitution.
Take immediate action
Call today: Governor Ehrlich Delegate Rawlings , Appropriations Chairman Senator Currie , Budget and Taxation Chairman Tell the person who answers that you would like to leave a message regarding the budget. I support full funding of the Thornton formula.
I support raising taxes to fund Thornton and other important children's programs.
Work towards a solution. 2002 - 2003 State Reflections Winners Join MDPTA for a fun-filled bus ride to National PTA Convention!
